Yuan Shikai Republic Commemorative Silver Coin – This attractive coin was minted at the Tianjin Mint based on one of L. Giorgi’s three designs. Two versions of this coin have been discovered with thicknesses of 2.8mm and 3.25mm… In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Italian engraver Giorgio was employed by the Tianjin Mint to carve the dies.
